The Josh and Ally Ko Company first began in 1999. That was when Joshua, 3, and Ally, 1, first began performing and putting on shows. They called themselves the "Star Show Company." Eventually, in 2005, Josh, Stephanie, Angela, and Melody collaborated on a book they called the "Halloween Idea Book." Out of this book idea, the company name was changed to "The Bookateers-All for books and books for all!" However, as most ideas turn out, the vision was changed, and more people came into the idea. These people included Natalie, Naomi, Micaiah, Nathanael, and Darren. The emphasis of the company became focused on stage shows and musicals. The company name was changed once again to "Entertainment Today" in 2007. But in 2009, the shows ended. The kids thought. And thought. And thought some more. They thought for almost a year on what they should do. On February 21, 2010, the BCBC Council/Board of Directors of the Josh and Ally Ko Company was founded.

Berkeley Chinese Baptist Church is located at 1951 Sacramento St. and you don't have to be Chinese to go!!!! They offer an English service at 9:30 and a Chinese service at 11:00 on Sundays. They also offer Children's Worship at 9:30 and Sunday School at 11:00 (or 9:30 if you are Chinese-speaking). Our pastoral intern, Charlie Nason, for the English congregation, can be contacted here.
